If I got a payslip
I would work from 9 to 5
Come back home and play with my son
Binge watch my favourite shows
’til I know them word for word
Follow trends and act woke on
Facebook
Hit the bar with the guys
And pretend I never ask for a
short time
But my country has 98% unemployment,
Fortunately am part of that statistic
So I work around the clock,
So I can take make time for my son and
His grandma
No time for virtual reality
I binge read “The Science of getting rich”
In the faith that I realize my reality
Of spending the rest of my life in the
Mountains that raised me.
