She once wrote a story
Once upon a time
Of sorrowful songs
Illustrating hearses paths
And believed that future
Was held tight in history’s perilous past
She sang a song – once
Of lost ones
She could never embrace
That had fluttered away
Prematurily before the end of the race
And thought that hers was a lost case
The drowned that would never resurface
But as the tides rolled in
They washed away the cried tears
And a new chapter ushered in
With the rush of Angels’ wings
And the call of a victorious win
Her sad songs became heartfelt sonnets
That echoed the summers breeze in her heart
Finally at peace – at long last…
