I saw a man stabbed to the heart
By a young lass’s charming whit
Coerced by the world into a scheming cheat
The biggest looser in a game in which she was already beat
I saw his heart ache
As he saw beyond the swelling back
Past, the smooth supple neck
And into young eyes with a hint of innocence
I saw a man hurt
Tears flowing down his cheeks
Like the rivulets on her tender thighs
As she gyrated skillfully to the sensual beat of the drums
I saw his eyes fill with tears
As his body shook from wretched sobs
While he heard them jeer and leer at her antics
Which she had learnt for their pleasure
I saw a man cry
As he searched for answers to the reason why
The reason why she allowed all in to give a try
And allowed herself to be merchandise that all men buy
I saw a man shed tears, I saw him cry
wondering how and why
Why she did not value herself as much as he did
And sold herself to devils in bow ties and fancy cars….
