(GOOD POEM) A GIRL CALLED NAMELESS by Vanadis17

They call me disgrace
The illegitimate child shrouded by an air of mystery
In me they see ignorance
Not the hurting wells of silent misery
And no the silent plea of one in distress

They call me all sorts of names
And tag me to all sorts of unsavory tales
But never do they call me by that which I was christened
Or make me heir to that which I honestly inherited

They call me harlot
And criticize all my effort
Yet they are the ones who undressed me of my dignity
And withdrew all their support
Leaving me a beggar fed only on pity

They call me what they want
And do to me as they will
Leaving scars that can never be undone
Along with burns left by a harshened will
And fighting me in a battle that they have already won
But what can I do when I stand defenseless , voiceless and faceless
My identity being A girl called nameless?
