Born in Zimbabwe, Kudakwashe Takundwa grew up in Bulawayo. He went to Gampu primary school in Mpopoma and Cyrene Boys High school in Matabeleland South. He did IT with a local college. He has been involved in theater for development and has worked with a community based youth organisation Young at heart Foundation Trust in mobilizing resources for the less privileged .
He has performed plays for various organisations in a way of raising awareness and educating people on different social ills. He is currently running an arts organisation which he cofounded with other artiste in Bulawayo called Cre8tive footprints arts org. Kudakwashe is very passionate about the development of the arts and helps young people unleash they talent to the world he helps by writing articles about they works. Kuda was among the top 20 global dialogues short writing contest winners in 2013, he stars in a yet to be released movie titled the bicycle thief. He also writes for various publications, and runs his blog kudatakundwa.blog.com.
